Elder Norng Chay

Praise God and salute to every teacher in the love of Jesus Christ! My name is Norng Chay, a 59-vear-old male who is now an elder in the B. P Pailin Church, living in Steung Kach Village. Stung Kach Commune, Salakroa District, Pailin Province. Have lived in Svay Rompea village, Svay Rompea commune, Kampong Leng district, Kampong Chhnang province. I have only one wif2e, Thy Navy, 53, and three daughters are married. First child, Chuan Chany, 32, has three children and a second child, Chuan Chanein, 25 has a daughter, a third child. Chuan Channa, 21, has a pregnant who are Christians in the B.P Pailin church. I would like to testify of God's great miracles for my life before accepting Jesus and then accepting him until God has called me to be a servant of God in Pailin today.

1. Life before accepting Jesus : I was born into a poor family in a remote rural area in Kampong Chhnang province, the third of four children, whose father was named Norng Chuan, died during the Pol Pot period, and mother was San Long died in the same period of Pol Pot regime. I was born on September 6, 1958, in Svay Rompea village, Svay Rompea commune, Kampong Leng district, Kampong Chhnang province. From the age of adolescence to adolescence, I was a bad person in a proud, arrogant, stubborn village until 1977 I had joined the Khmer Rouge army, fighting against the Vietnamese soldiers and armies of government and was a drunkard. I am the one who is passionate about arguing with others and friends, especially after drinking. 1s time at the end of 1977, I took up the gunfire and escaped from Kratie to the west of Cambodia,of the Vietnamese soldiers, I ran From Snoul to Kratie to stay in Chhlong district, Kratie province, at about 7 am, And I ran, and my other companion was shot dead in the spot, and I kept running, using bamboo to float the Mekong River to an island, and then got a lifeboat to save my life on the water. 2nd time After surviving, I walked all day and night more than 3 months to reach the Pailin province and to stay in the Blue Mountains in Pailin city. And after the Khmer Rouge's actions go against Vietnamese troops already stationed in the village border communes Salakrao District until later I was stepping on mines causing explosions lost left side in the mountains, the border of Cambodia-Thailand in 1982. But thanks to God later, in 1998, as living in Pailin God used a pastor, the Methodist Church from Battambang to preach the gospel of God in Pailin. Then he spoke of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I just opening his eyes to his speech, and he gave me one Bible for reading at home. However, I have not yet decided to accept Him, looking forward to pastoral activities and those who believe in God before, then I have discussed with my wife, my children, and my dedication to God. Then the pastor calls me to the village chief that he teaches the new believers about Jesus every Sunday and after listening to preaching and then I believe that Jesus is the true God, with my wife and children going with him. Until 1999, another group of evangelistic organizations from Phnom Penh went to the scree n about Jesus story and we went to sit down and watched that better

2. After :iccepting Jesus : After believe in Jesus, I took my wife and children to pray to read the Bible every day, and to sing praises to God later, and then transform our lives into renunciation of sinfulness, such as smoking, drinking, and quarreling between parents and children. Until 2004, we all joined in the B.P Church until this day, because God always provides and gives us physical strength as well as strong faith in Him.

3. Serving God in Pailin: After accepting God until 2005, I am passionate about serving God, participating in church activities, attending workshops, even though there is no means of transportation, I want to walk with my wife and children to worship God in Pailin, a distance of about 5 km away and to teach in small groups about 7 kilometers More. Later, until 2007-2009, I was busy farming, wasted little time to read the Bible and was less involved in worshiping at the church, and my life became weak in spirit by overestimating debt. Soon after, in 2012, only to stop planting and willing to worship and Sunday service time, he blessed the money by renting the land more than 10 hectares, the debt was completely over. Thanks God Today, I and other elders go down the villages to the small groups and teach them about Jesus, so that the whole Pailin city will hear the Gospel of God and be transformed. We also ask Pastor in Cambodia, Korea and other countries to pray for Pailin province for the people living there to receive the life changes. Amen.
