Thmorbang church

 

Greetings dear brothers and sisters in our Lord's name. This is my pleasure and honor to share with you of my Testimony and my Ministry. My name is So Nem, I'm 28 years old, I am serving the Lord in ThmorBang Church since August 7th 2017. In December 2020 I got married to Narath and now we are serving the Lord together. 
  
The LORD chosen me,
I was born in a poor family in a remote village, my parents they are working very hard in the farm in order to feed us. Our parents, our ancestors are Buddhism who worship the idol. In 2009 the Lord called me through my uncle who is pastor invited me to join worship service, it's was not of my interested but I try to join because of I don't want to go to farm and help parents. I am disobedience to my parents most of the times. But when I attended church service the Words of the Lord sharpen my heart, He changed my mind, He leads me to new life, I'm more of obeyed my parents, and to be shown them about God's love and endure to them. 

The Lord leads my life, 
After I finished of my high school, I went to Phnom Penh to find dormitory, school offers for scholarships, but all I falls. In November 2011 my pastor invited me to join the Revival Camp in KBS. When I attended the camp it makes me so happy, I come to know God, his purpose more and He touched my heart this Bible verses. ( Luke 10: 2 The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field) that time I pray and ask God for his purpose and his will in my life. A few weeks later the Lord spoke to me to request my pastor to send me to study in KBS. My pastor so happy to hear about that and he sent me to KBS in December 2012.
In the years of 2015 I graduated from KBS. That time Rev.Moses sent me to serve the Lord with missionary at Siemreap province, but I refused to him. Because I am responsible for my family to work in order to support my family ( that time it our sorrowful time to say Bye bye my lovely mom ). A few weeks later I went to Phnom Penh to find a job and to be selected as a assistant manager at Approach Service and Consultant company. I worked in this company almost 1 year, I have many friends, co-workers, most of the times we have parties, I behave just like unbelievers. I have never attended the church service almost a year. One day my cousin she invited me to visit her house as well as invited me to her church, so I decided to fellows her to the church. Every times I attended the church service the Words of the Lord sharpen me and touched me. Finally I repented and ask God for his Forgiveness of my sins. And I committed myself to God and ask Him to use me as instrument for His Kingdom 🙏 

The Lord used me for His Kingdom, 
In March 2016 to April 2017 God opened the door and called me to serve him with Korean missionaries in Shihanoukvill (OJCC). I serve him with faithful hearts, evangelism to the lost souls, teachings children and youths of English, Bible, songs and trains them to be the servant of the Lord. 
In August 7th 2017 the Lord opened another gate to show and called me to serve in Thmor Bang where there is no church, no Christian organization, no good road, no market, no electricity, no internet, it's very rural area in the might of the jungle. I started to rental a small house 4×5m, I stayed there, I eat there, I sleep there, I opened English classes to children and youths for free there, and we worship there. I used to interactive to neighbors, villagers, evangelism to the unbelievers and unreached places. 
In 2019 the Lord has blessed us with piece of land in Thmor Bang, and 2020 we were blessed again to have church building. In December 12th 2020 the Lord has been brought me to marriage to Narath, and we are serving the Lord together.
