VealThom BP church.

 

After establishing 3 churches (Smackdeng; Oknhaheng, Botsemoan), we prayed to establish more church along No 4 highway to PhnomPenh. So we evangelized and had gospel rally under the big tree at Vealthom village. Pugok church in Pusan sent offering for buying church land and building wooden structure of sanctuary. So we built it in 1999. Later brother Joshua Sophal served the church and sent his student Peaktra to KBS. Later brother Stephan moved to Vealthom church from Oknhaheng church and served with his wife. Because old wooden sanctuary decayed, GuangMyong Mission and HeunDol church donated offering for new sanctuary. When brother Stephan resigned, sister Saven (Keo Vin) replaced him. Due to flooding into parsonage on rainy season, now new parsonage is being built with the offering of Dr David Cheng of Singapore.
Even it has history of 22 years, church is weak.

We pray it can grow up in the conviction of word of God, by renewing of Holy Spirit. 

 

Joel 2:28, And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
Acts 2:37-38, Now when they heard this, they were pricked their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of Holy Spirit.

 

We pray the church members and ministers may understand the meaning of bible correctly so they could confess theirs sins, receive forgiveness from the Lord, and be empowered by Holy Spirit. Otherwise they cannot go forward in the hostile environment of the village. It is last days, the evil days. We pray many young people could rise up and be trained in the word of God, fight good fight for the Lord.

I rejoice to have the opportunity to share my testimony with you all. 

My name is Keo vin (Saven). I am 35 years old I was born into parents were working in the farm to provide all the need. Before going to KBS : 1999, I was a Sunday School student at VealThom church. I did not know God at all just follow them to get a cake I went to the church more than 3 years when I was just in grade 6 and then I started getting to know God a little bit until I went to Bible School in 2002. In my family no one believe God only me when I asked my parents go to Bible School he didn't want me to do but because I explain what I receive as God and he said well let me go I study and Bible School for a year and I went back to my home until 2008 I went there again for 3 years until 2011 I leave from Bible School to get a job to help my family until 2014 I was married. when married it's not easy and all the time my faith is down I married my husband. he never knew God and never believe in God but because he loved me so follow me. 
But because of God's love I return to serve God I have been serving God at VealThom church in 2018 for 3 years during my service to God at the church and many difficulties bad with the grace of God and the protection of God have made me and my family try forever so far, thank you God for always remembering me sometime with heavy rains making it difficult to live 3 years I try to pray to God so now God answer our prayer now we have a new building thanks you God for answer our prayer.

[Testimony of Chum Sey La, Stephen's wife]

When I was living in Phnom Penh, I had 11 siblings, 5 brothers and 6 sisters. My family believes in Jesus, my dad, his group are evangelists, and my mom sells at home.
On April 17, 1975, Pol Pot attacked Phnom Penh and ordered the people to leave the city immediately. At that time, my mother and sister, younger brothers, and older brothers came out immediately, apart from that, they were separated. Halfway there, they asked two brothers to take them to school, and they disappeared.
My family also traveled to Prey Phnov village, Prey Phnov commune, Pearang district, Prey Veng province. By 1979, they had gathered all the people who left on April 17 and killed them by beating them into a well. As for me, I was in the front mobile unit, then they also planned to kill 35 mobile units. The plan is to evacuate all people to the foot of Santuk Mountain, Kampong Thom Province. Once in the forest, they are ready to kill again. But Phnom Penh was liberated that night, and the people came out of the forest all night and walked all the way to Kampong Cham province. At that time, I was alone, I was followed to Kong Tonle Krom village, Lvees commune, Prey Veng province. The commune knew that I was an orphan, so they called me to live in the commune office with the nurese, and I tried to save money to go to Phnom Penh to see all the land and houses have taken away by others. I returned back a few months later, I met my second sister, and she brought me to Kampong Som. I also started selling toys, saving money to buy houses and stalls. On Sunday I did not sell, but closed the stall to go to the church, and then I met teacher Stephen at that time.

ពីអតីកាលខ្ញុំរស់នៅទីក្រុងភ្នំ់ពេញ ខ្ញុំមានបងប្អូន១១នាក់ ប្រុស៥ ស្រី៦។ គ្រួសារខ្ញុំជឿព្រះយេស៊ូវទាំងអស់គ្នា ប៉ាខ្ញុំក្រុមគាត់ជាអ្នកផ្សាយដំណឹងល្អ ចំណែកម៉ាក់ខ្ញុំលក់ដូរនៅផ្ទះ។
លុះដល់ថ្ងៃ១៧ មេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ប៉ុលពតក៏វាយយកទីក្រុងភ្នំហើយក៏ប្រកាស់អោយប្រជាជនចេញពីទីក្រុងជាបន្ទាន់។ ពេលនោះម្តាយនិងបងស្រី ប្អូនប្រុស បងប្រុសក៏នាំគ្នាចេញជាបន្ទាន់ ក្រៅពីនោះនៅបែកគ្នា។ មកដល់ពាក់កណ្តាល់ផ្លូវពួកវាសុំបង២នាក់យកទៅរៀនសូត្រក៏បាត់រហូត។
គ្រួសារខ្ញុំក៏ធ្វើដំណើរមកដល់ភូមិព្រៃព្នៅ ឃុំព្រៃព្នៅ ស្រុកពារាំង ខេត្តព្រៃវែង។ លុះដល់ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ពួកវាក៏ប្រមូលប្រជាជន១៧មេសាទាំងអស់យកទៅសម្លាប់ ដោយវាយលម្លាក់ក្នុងអណ្តូង។ ចំណែកខ្ញុំនៅកងចល័តខាងមុខ បន្ទាប់មកពួកវាក៏មានផែនការប្រុងយកកងចល័ត៣៥នាក់ទៅសម្លាប់ទៀត។ ផែនការមកដល់អោយជម្លៀសប្រជាជនទាំងអស់ឪ្យចេញជាបន្ទាន់ ទៅជើងភ្នំសន្ទុកខេត្តកំពង់ធំ។ លុះទៅដល់ក្នុងព្រៃពួកវាប្រុងសម្លាប់ទៀត។ តែភ្នំពេញត្រូវបានរំដោះក្នុងយប់នោះតែម្តង ប្រជាជនក៏នាំគ្នាចេញពីព្រៃទាំងយប់ដើររហូតមកដល់ខេត្តកំពង់ចាម។ ពេលនឹងខ្ញុំនៅតែម្នាក់ទេ ត្រូវតាមគេមកដល់ភូមិកោងទន្លេរក្រោម ឃុំល្វេស ខេត្តព្រៃវែង។ ពួកឃុំដឹងថាខ្ញុំកូនកំព្រាក៏ហៅទៅនៅមន្ទីរឃុំជាមួយពេទ្យស្រីៗ ខ្ញុំខំសន្សំលុយទៅភ្នំពេញ ទៅមើលដីនិងផ្ទះគេយកអស់។ ខ្ញុំក៏ត្រឡប់មកវិញ នៅបានប៉ុន្មានខែក៏បានជួបបងស្រីទី២គាត់ក៏បានទៅយកខ្ញុំមកនៅក្រុងកំពង់សោម។ ខ្ញុំក៏ចាប់ផ្តើមលក់ដូរគ្រឿងក្មេងសន្សំលុយទិញផ្ទះនិងតូប។ ថ្ងៃអាទិត្យខ្ញុំឥតលក់តែបិទតូបទៅព្រះវិហារ បន្ទាប់មកទៀតខ្ញុំក៏បានជួបលោកគ្រូស្តេផាន់។
