With the meeting with her in Saipan in December1993, my way was totally changed. I attended YeSon Presbyterian church in Saipan in those days and served as deacon. There were many Chinese workers at garment factories. Because it was US territory, tax was exempted, so they employed tens of thousand mainland Chinese workers. Saipan is small island. It takes 30 minutes from one end to another. But more than 10 Korean churches were established for this Chinese mission.

We called it back-door mission, training in free Saipan, sending back to communist China. They must return to China after 3 years' work. Then another group arrived. So our church decided to begin Chinese mission even our congregation is small, less than 30 adults. Some agreed, but  some disagreed. But how can we start it? Nobody knows Chinese language. So we prayed. Finally one elder, Mrs. Sim, came to our church from Singapore. She was excellent bible & song teacher. She was former music teacher at public school. I brought workers from several factories with church van and send them back. Over 100 workers gathered to evening class, so she taught bible and singing. But she returned to Singapore after serving three months. Before her return, we prayed that God send another missionary to us. One night before her return, she said our prayer is answered. I was surprised and ask to her, Anyone is coming? She said, "No, Not sending anybody means somebody in this church must take this job. It is you who take it."

So I took this mission for three months, bringing them, teaching English, climbing to mountain for prayer with them. She also urged me to get proper theological training in Singapore, and introduced FEBC. So I went to Singapore with my family in July 1994, she also sent another missionaries, elder & Mrs. Leong Yin Chu to Saipan to replace me.
During the study at FEBC, she also asked church members to help us because we had not enough money. When I started mission work in Cambodia, she brought Dr. Chan SingChay, former SNU professor, to Cambodia. Dr Chan also brought mission funds and co-workers. From 1998 to 2019, every year she came to kbs and taught for a month.
Through this lady of Mrs Sim, I have studied in Singapore and ordained & sent to Cambodia by Singaporean Life B-P church with financial support until now and working together with many Singaporean churches.

She is a spiritual mother to me.
